Here is a very special group of people, nearly all of them have been members of the Manchester University Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

This society is well-known for it's social life as well its productions.

I have included membership years for each member, so any former members looking at this site can work out whether they ought to recognise that person. For those who joined before I did there is a fair amount of guesswork as far as the membership years are concerned.

Along the way, I have also pointed all of the physics students and graduates, to prove how popular the subject really is! I have also put in a few limericks.

To read about the productions in which I participated, go to The Stage Page

Pages 4, 5 and 6 include only people who have been in MUGSS.

Justin, as you may have guessed, is a fan of "all the heavy metal bands you've never heard of".

He has had principal roles in many G&S and other shows. He is also very keen on morris dancing.

He doesn't always dress like that though (yes, that's him on the left).

And Richard does smile sometimes.

1996-2002.

There was a time when the fore-mentioned Justin Morley frequntly wore pink dungarees and Matt frequently multi-coloured trousers, and so

There was a young man called Matt Lees
Who never wore pink dungarees.
But he did wear trou-
Sers that were red and brown
And were blue, mauve, white, orange and green!

1996-2001

There was a young man called Chris Drayton
His manorisms were frustratin'
He was in the crew
